Benefits of Aloe Vera - Valuable Health Benefits of Aloe Vera Juice

 Aloe Vera Juice

Aloe vera juice benefits the body inside and out. The extract extracted from the plant has been shown to show a laxative effect and reduce cancerous lesions, but the whole plant supplement is also therapeutic.

In general, the benefits of aloe vera are associated with topical use. However, increased levels of blood sugar and lipid control through oral administration of plants have been described.

Often, topical analgesics and moisturizers contain toxic compounds or block the skin. Compounds such as mineral oil or wax prevent moisture exchange with the environment and provide temporary relief to the injured area but can surprisingly worsen the source of the discomfort.

Many studies show its benefits as a natural alternative to these chemicals and may be a healthier alternative. A double-blind, placebo-controlled, 60-member study found that the health benefits of aloe vera juice were more than 70% effective in treating moderate plaque-type psoriasis and showing no adverse side effects.

In the dermabrasion treatment of acne vulgaris, the layer of skin is surgically removed from the body. This can lead to scarring and infection - the probability of which increases as the treatment period increases.

Generally, it takes 7 to 30 days for the skin to heal completely, depending on the severity. In a controlled clinical trial of 17 patients, topical application of aloe vera led to a reduction of healing time of 72 hours.

With further processing, the health benefits of the juice can be increased. For example, by converting the juice to a hydrophilic preparation, the increased degeneration through the skin increases the therapeutic potential.

This was demonstrated by comparing the use of hydrophilic aloe vera cream and aloe vera gel in a controlled study on patients with genital herpes by 120-patient, double-blind, placebo. Over a two-week period, patients were treated with cream, gel, or placebo and monitored as they recovered.

Placebo cures only 7.5% of patients within 14 days. The gel gave a better performance by treating 45% in just 7 days. Finally, the hydrophilic preparation was able to treat 70% of the test group in just 4.8 days!

There are claims that oral administration of aloe vera juice may help patients with a blood lipid panel that does not respond to dietary changes. Consumption of 10 ml of juice daily for 12 weeks lowers cholesterol, LDL, and triglyceride levels in the blood.

Another study examined the effect of glybinamide and aloe vera supplements on blood glucose in untreated diabetics. Surprisingly, by taking 1 teaspoon of juice twice a day, two groups of patients were able to lower their blood sugar levels from 250 mg% to 141 mg%.

Adverse side effects are less when AV juice is used. In topical applications, only mild swelling and itching were reported at the application sites, and usually none. For oral administration, the laxative effect of the plant can cause problems.

If overused, induced diarrhea can lead to dehydration and further adverse effects if not addressed immediately. The benefits that come from these minor side effects make it one of the best therapeutic plants in human history.
